These terms explain the WineInvestments.com.au website and its sourcing enquiry process. The website is operated by Cellars.com.au Pty Ltd, ABN 14 684 443 392, trading as WineInvestments.com.au.
The site provides information and a way to discuss Australian wine sourcing. It is not a live stock catalogue, online checkout, storage booking platform, insurance service or managed investment fund.
An enquiry is not an order
Submitting a brief asks the team to discuss your request. It does not buy wine, authorise payment, create a subscription or commit you to spending the stated budget. A submission reference confirms receipt of the enquiry, not availability or acceptance of an order.
Before proceeding with a purchase or paid service, the relevant scope, parties, fees and terms must be separately confirmed. You may decline a proposal; alternatives to your requested wine, year, format or quantity need your approval.
Confirm the seller and full proposal
Ask who is selling the wine, who receives payment and who handles delivery, returns and complaints. The proposal should identify the exact wine, vintage, format, quantity, available condition information, total price and any applicable sourcing, handling, delivery or other charges.
Confirm whether quoted amounts include GST where applicable, and whether storage or insurance is being arranged separately. A guide, example price, budget range or mention of a producer is not a stock listing or binding quotation. We do not guarantee a particular allocation, discount or delivery date before confirmation.
Adults and lawful supply
This service is for people aged 18 or over. Do not submit an enquiry on behalf of a minor or use the website to seek unlawful supply. Our listed liquor licence numbers are SA 57712682 and NT IRL0261.
The form's age confirmation does not replace the checks required for a subsequent sale or delivery. The actual seller must apply the requirements relevant to that transaction and destination; South Australian direct-sales and delivery responsibilities are described by the Government of South Australia.
Collection guidance, not financial promises
“Investments” in our name does not mean that we recommend buying wine for profit. We do not provide personal financial advice or promise appreciation, future values, returns or resale. Wine choices should reflect your taste, collection plans and budget.
Editorial references and drinking windows are attributed guidance, not guarantees about an individual bottle. Producer reputation does not establish its storage history or condition. Seek independent advice if financial gain is your main objective.
Your consumer rights remain
Nothing in these website terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or another applicable law. The ACCC's consumer-guarantee guidance explains that consumer guarantees cannot be removed by a “no refunds” statement or other terms.
Any issue with a later sale or service needs to be considered against the actual circumstances, applicable law and confirmed arrangement. These terms do not impose a blanket no-refunds rule or require you to waive non-excludable rights.
Information and privacy
Provide accurate contact details and a brief you are authorised to submit. Do not include payment-card details, identity documents or unnecessary sensitive information in the form. Our privacy notice explains storage, use and handling of enquiries.
The editorial policy explains research, attribution and corrections. Tell us about material errors using the page address and supporting details; do not treat general editorial copy as personalised legal, insurance or financial advice.
Questions, complaints and changes
Contact enquiries@cellars.com.au or 0473 644 098, or write to WineInvestments.com.au, Cellars.com.au Pty Ltd, PO Box 551, Craigmore, SA 5114. Include the enquiry reference or relevant transaction details, the concern and the outcome you are seeking.
The update date records this version of the website terms. Future website changes do not retrospectively replace the terms of an already agreed purchase or service; any change to such an arrangement needs to be handled separately.
